MALAYSIA: Systems Electronic & Engineering Sdn Bhd, the exclusive Allen & Heath distributor in the region, recently held an event to mark the official Malaysian launch of the manufacturer’s Qu-32 digital mixing desk. Systems integrators, dealers, rental companies and end-users all gathered at the Recital Hall of Mega Music World in Kuala Lumpur to listen to insights about the various Qu models as well as the manufacturer’s iLive and GLD systems by A&H APAC sales engineer, Alex Schloesser.

‘We felt that we need to be more active in Malaysia with Allen & Heath and the launch event was a first step for this,’ commented Mr Schloesser. ‘We need to give the Malaysian market the attention and focus that it deserves and the team around Kheong is totally motivated and committed to this task. The location was superb and the attendance was great and we followed up with a whole week of events after the initial launch.

‘Features such as soft keys, copy and paste, RTA and PFL options make setting up and using the Qu console flexible and easy,’ remarked Lim Kheong Sen, country manager of Systems Electronics & Engineering Sdn Bhd. ‘Both the Qu-16 and Qu-24 models have been well received and we are confident that we will see even more success with this new addition.’

‘Obviously the new Qu-32 was the star of the show, but we had all three digital platforms on display and have been able to show iLive, GLD and also the entire Qu-series,’ furthered Mr Schloesser. ‘The vibe and response that we have see at this event has been so great, I dare say that this was a very important step for Allen & Heath in Malaysia and we will be back with more events in the very near future.’
