In celebration of our 70th Anniversary, we are honored to announce our partnership with Gateway Arts as Production Sponsor for Behind The Wall!

In our industry, migrant workers contribute quietly behind the scenes – we only know this because we work with them! As a firm believer in workplace diversity and inclusion, and to show our support to our migrant employees and migrant workers everywhere, we have pledged to this meaningful production of Behind The Wall.

Period: 30 September 2021 - 31 December 2021

Join us in raising S$7,000 for Behind The Wall, the socially-relevant production that aims to educate the public on the often overlooked migrant workers’ community.

For every social media post (Facebook or Instagram or LinkedIn) with the #ENE70 and #BehindTheWall, we will donate S$70 to Gateway Arts, to fund this meaningful production. For every LIKE on your post, E&E will donate an additional S$1 (capped at 100 likes per post).

FOR BEHIND THE WALL

About Behind The Wall

Behind The Wall follows Tommy, a little mouse who ventures beyond a mysterious wall in the perfect city of Pura Pura, where he meets animals that talk and look “different”, like Al the Elephant, a worker from a faraway land. Behind The Wall shows us that, while people may look and sound very different, we are all the same on the inside, and just as capable of kindness.

E&E - A Singapore Story

A Singapore home grown company founded by Mr. Goh Kiok Chuan in 1951, that pioneered the installation of Cinema systems and evolved over the years to integrating large scale audio, video and display solutions.

Having the privilege of being associated with Singapore’s growth over the decades, with turnkey audio and video solutions starting as early as 1963 at the National Theatre, E&E has continued to provide its expertise in venues of historic significance like the former Singapore National Stadium and Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall.

As our nation progressed, E&E has been there every step of the way, providing innovative and award winning solutions at numerous iconic landmarks throughout our island.

We are also proud to have contributed to our nation’s Bicentennial Celebration in the year 2019 (twenty-nineteen) as the systems integrator for The Singapore Bicentennial Experience: From Singapore to Singaporean.

As Singapore continues to embrace digitalisation to stay relevant in an ever changing global economy, E&E too has continued to evolve our product and service offerings, enabling us to stay on the cutting edge of our industry.

Entering into 2021, E&E celebrates our 70th Anniversary. Ever since it was established in 1951, E&E has played a major role in the Professional Audio-Visual Industry in Singapore with our involvement in National projects such as the National Theatre in 1963, National Stadium in 1973, Esplanade, Theatres by the Bay in 2002, Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall and Singapore Sports Hub in 2014, Changi Airport Terminal 4 in 2017 and most recently, The Bicentennial Experience in 2019.

E&E was founded by the late Mr. Goh Kiok Chuan in 1951 and his eldest son Mr. Ronald Goh was roped into the family business while pursuing his tertiary education in the early 1960s, working closely with his father increasing their market dominance in the professional audio arena both locally and regionally. E&E is still driven by that same entrepreneurial spirit of our founder Mr. Goh and guided by our values of hard work, diligence and perseverance.

In 2003, Mr. Gary Goh too followed in the footsteps of his father Mr. Ronald Goh and joined the company as a Project Engineer and then serving in various positions throughout the years before stepping into a Senior Management position in 2011. Over the 10 years that he has served as Deputy Managing Director, he has continued to strengthen the focus on E&E’s commitment to our customers and has constantly pushed new boundaries by expanding our portfolio with product innovation and engineering.

As the company moves into our next phase of growth, we are pleased to announce that Mr. Ronald Goh will assume the role of Chairman of the E&E Group of Companies, with Mr. Gary Goh assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer together with Mr. Joe Fong as Chief Operating Officer and Ms. Cynthia Nah as Chief Financial Officer.

Commenting on the new appointments, Chairman, Mr. Ronald Goh said, “This transition in leadership has been years in the making with both Gary and Joe having been appointed Deputy Managing Directors in 2011. Their leadership has been instrumental in both evolving and driving E&E’s growth strategy over the last decade; and with both of them at the helm, I am confident that their combined experience and dedication to the company will help carry E&E into the future and secure its continued success in the years to come.”

“We are also truly fortunate to have a talented team at E&E who have been instrumental in our success over the years, with more than a quarter of our staff having been with us for over 10 years.” continued Mr. Ronald Goh.

“Having grown from a family business to what we are today, E&E has now become one of the very few AV companies that has been around for 70 years globally. It is our passion that has driven us to where we are today, and this same passion will propel us to the Vision we have set. We are excited about this celebration while taking on a new Mission to bring E&E to 80, 90 and 100 years,” shared Mr. Joe Fong, COO.

Newly appointed CEO, Mr. Gary Goh shared, “I am honored to take on this new leadership role. We are in unprecedented times as we celebrate this momentous milestone. The pandemic has had a big impact on our industry, but our team has stayed dedicated and resilient with the determination that we will emerge stronger than ever before. E&E is built on the values that have shaped us for the past 70 years, and it is these values that will continue to guide us for the years to come.”

“We are thankful to our Clients, Partners and last but not least, our Team for being on this amazing journey with us as we set out on our next lap of the E&E Legacy,” continued Mr. Gary Goh.
