Singapore – Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd recently held an official Mackie product launch event at popular live music venue, Wala Wala, Holland Village. The launch showcased the Mackie DL1608, a digital live sound mixer with iPad control and the Mackie DLM Series, 2000 Watt powered loudspeakers which feature a built in digital mixer.

The by-invitation event was attended by various dealers, systems integrators, rental staging companies, technical professionals as well as End-users from various fields.

The presentation sessions were conducted by John Boudreau from Mackie. As Senior Vice President, Marketing for Mackie, John manages product and marketing strategy for Mackie and all aspects of the brands’ products lifecycles – from concept and development all the way through to market launch and eventual redesign and replacement.

“The Mackie DLM Series in an innovative powered loudspeaker line featuring stunning TruSource ™ fidelity, plus 2000 watts of class – leading system power in the most compact loudspeaker design Mackie has ever offered,” pointed out John Boudreau. Plus, it is exceptionally lightweight with the DLM8 weighing just 22lbs, DLM12 weighing 30lbs and the DLM12S weighing 47lbs, expressed Boudreau.

The DL1608 has been very well received since we previewed it at the Houses of Worship Technologies Show and now paired with the concurrent launch of the DLM Series provides users with a whole new level of innovation in the portable sound reinforcement market, continued Goh.

Attendees were treated to a live demonstration of the DL1608 and DLMs in action with local band 53A performing an acoustic set. The event then concluded with 3 lucky draw winners walking away with two Mackie Blackjacks and one DL1608.
