SHURE QLX-D DIGITAL WIRELESS SYSTEM DEBUTS IN SINGAPORE

SINGAPORE: Shure’s QLX-D Digital Wireless System has been officially launched in Singapore at an event hosted by authorized distributor Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd. The half-day event was held at the Star Performing Arts Centre and featured an exclusive product launch seminar for attending members of the press, consultants, systems integrators, sound engineers and audio technicians.

The session was led by Shure Asia’s business development manager, Kim Jurgensen, who began with a speech on the MICE industry in South East Asia. The QLX-D and ShurePlus Channels mobile app were then presented by Gerald Chew, product manager at E&E, together with Desmond Ho, E&E’s technical manager.

‘We are confident that this digital wireless system will quickly become popular especially since it uses the same technology as Shure’s high end digital wireless systems but in a more affordable and streamlined package. It will be suitable for a wider target market,’ commented Gary Goh, E&E deputy managing director.

The evening ended with a performance by Shure endorsed local artist, The Sam Willows, who performed three of their songs using a full QLX-D Wireless system, GLX-D Wireless Body pack, Guitar Pedal Wireless System and Shure PSM1000 Personal Monitoring System.

After being unveiled at KOBA 2014 earlier, the Shure QLX-D digital wireless system was introduced in Singapore at a launch seminar held at The Star Performing Arts Center and organized by Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd.
