To get Stem devices on your network, you’ll need a wired connection within the same VLAN.

For power and data, make sure you have a PoE+ network connection.

To support conferencing, 2Mbps of bandwidth is required for each Stem device.

How many Stem devices can connect to a single Hub?

Stem Hub can support up to 10 audio endpoints devices (Table, Wall, Ceiling, Speaker), as long as it is operating at a firmware version 2.0 or more. Stem Control and Stem Hub do not count as an audio endpoint device.

Do Stem Speakers support Dante and AES67?

Stem Speakers are not supported on Dante and AES67 although Stem Hub does support Dante. Dante functionality within Stem Hub routes through one of the two physical RJ45 ports on the unit labeled Dante. The Dante I/O is a 1x1 - a single channel input and a single channel output. 

What are the after-sales support offered?

There is a 2 years warranty period for all Stem products with manufacturing defect.

Is there an option to save our RoomDesign for later?

Currently, there are no functions to export your Room Design from Stem website directly onto the Stem Control. Stem RoomDesign is a tool that helps you determine the devices you need in your meeting room before you make your purchase.

Can 2 Stem Hubs be paired together in a combinable space?

Combined room mode is possible with a maximum of 10 audio end points for Stem devices. When you have 2 separate systems (Stem devices and Hub) in a single room, 1 of the Stem Hub will be automatically made Master. 

Can Stem do local reinforcement?

As audio coming out from speakers is playback & far end audio, Stem can't perform local reinforcement at the moment. 

For Wall, is there any difference in the performance when mounted above and below display?

None at all. The Room Adapt function will provide the right pick up sounds for Stem Wall. 

Is the mute button & LED status able to sync with Zoom Room PC and controller mute status?

Yes! Stem is compatible with Zoom mute sync feature. 

Is the user interface on the touchpanel customizable?

Not at the current firmware. However, we will pass on this feedback to the development team and look forward to this feature!

Is there Dark Mode UI?

Not at the current firmware. However, we will pass on this feedback to the development team and look forward to this feature!
