3rd June 2013, Singapore – With the campus’s cultural vibrancy growing year after year, led in part by their annual NUS Arts Festival and with University Cultural Centre (UCC) at the campus’ cultural nexus, the team at NUS Centre For the Arts (CFA) constantly seek to improve UCC’s facilities as a high quality performing arts venue.

Says Mr. K. Shyam, Assistant Director of Production Services at CFA, “The curtains have helped to further improve the acoustics within the UCC Hall. The manufacturer was also gracious enough to run their materials through the various fire retardant tests to our satisfaction. They also had a wide range offabrics which we could pick from to match the existing curtains we have on the side walls.”

The upgrading of the Hall’s audio system was supplied and installed by Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd (E&E) recently and this new acoustical curtain installation was a natural progression from that project.

“With advanced technology and equipment, Fuyi has successfully developed a series of multi-functional certified flame retardant acoustical products and this gives our customers’ added confidence in using these products for their venues. Some of these new generation acoustical products have also managed to gain patent certificates, commented Gary Goh, Deputy Managing Director, Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd.
